Three Pillars of Performance
Core Web Vitals are a set of metrics that Google uses to measure user experience on the web. They focus on loading speed, interactivity, and visual stability.
LCP (Largest Contentful Paint)
Measures loading performance. Aim for 2.5 seconds or less.
FID (First Input Delay)
Measures interactivity. Aim for 100 milliseconds or less.
CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift)
Measures visual stability. Aim for a score of 0.1 or less.
